Perhaps it is just chance or good luck, but this winter I have not had the flu, or a cold. All of my family, and many people I have had frequent contact with, have suffered the dreaded lurgy. Why not me? I'm touching wood by the way. I have a theory, and I want to share. I have always loved crystalline ginger and ginger drinks. This year I have eaten a few pieces of my favourite, Buderim ginger, a Queensland, Australian product, every day. It has become my little snack between meals. I keep some in my car and it's always in our pantry. I even took a couple of packs with me on our recent European vacation. Could this be an unheralded, anti viral super food? What else could it be that has seemingly given me a cold and flue shield? Perhaps it is the black tea with lemon juice I have been enjoying of late too? There is plenty of evidence of the benefits of vitamin C and the tannins in tea. Could it be the combination of the ginger and tea in my diet? Or could it be a combination of those, plus the glass or two of our Roennfeldt Hiill, Barossa Shiraz? Anyway, go ponder. Love to hear from others who have experienced the health benefits of ginger. #health #antiviral #superfood #naturalremedies #roenfeldthillwines #beconsumedtours #barossavalleywineries - Roenfeldt Hill Wines
